Privacy

How information about your visit is handled, and how to contact us.

What is collected

When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages people read, what they search for and which Vendor links they follow. This includes page addresses, search terms, the Vendor and Peptide linked to a click, and the area of the site used.

GA4 also receives browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers that distinguish visits. Please do not enter personal or medical information in site searches.

When analytics runs

When analytics is enabled, visitors identified as being in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland are asked to accept or decline analytics. GA4 loads only after acceptance. Declining sends no analytics requests to Google, including requests without cookies.

Elsewhere, analytics starts immediately without a consent banner. The same applies when a country cannot be identified. Country detection uses information provided by our hosting service from your connection; it does not request your device's precise location.

No accounts

There are no visitor accounts, sign-ins or purchases on PeptideBio. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use that information to handle your message.

Hosting logs

Vercel hosts the site and processes connection and request information to deliver and operate it. We keep no separate visitor request logs beyond the hosting service's logs. See Vercel's privacy policy for its handling of this information.

The consent cookie

When the consent controls are active, a cookie called cc_cookie remembers your analytics setting for 182 days. It records your preference, including when analytics is enabled automatically outside the regions above. It is separate from GA4's analytics cookies.

When allowed to run, GA4 uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. Their default lifetime is two years and can be refreshed on visits. Your browser may limit that lifetime.

You can remove cookies through your browser settings. When consent controls are available, use Cookie settings in the footer to change your analytics preference.

Google's processing

Google processes analytics information to provide reports about site use. Processing may take place outside your country. Google describes its handling of this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and its Privacy Policy.
